About this collection

Each year, the US Military Academy Brigade Tactical Department, in conjunction with the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership, and Columbia University’s Teachers College, accept applications from branch qualified (or soon-to-be branch qualified) captains for assignments as Company Tactical Officers, regardless of commissioning source, for the Eisenhower Leader Development Program (ELDP). ELDP cohorts of approximately 24 officers complete a program of 45 credits, including a comprehensive examination at the end, in one year. In other words, their full time duty is to be a graduate student. These papers were written by former ELDP officers.
